Once upon a time

Once upon a time, when I was in Shivpuri (For River Rafting)

White water rafting is gaining a lot of recognition these days in northern India, in past only the adventure enthusiasts used to go for rafting by now with the rising safety standards more of office crowd is seen on the rafting adventure.

Last month I was in shivpuri with a group of 18 passionate people for adventure and it was one more lifetime thrilling experience for me. Navigating through the considerably bumpy water on inflatable rafts, in between valley was a memorable experience for me. I become really excited even today when I think of the time just before the grade 4 rapid and our guide told us Golf Course (a four grade rapid on Ganga) 90% chances that the raft my flip, there was pin drop salience in our raft. He added I can only do 30 % to save from it rest 70% is with you all, so be silent in the rapid if you don’t want to flip on Ganga. Really rapid was tough, one of my friend Mahiraj almost thrown out of the raft by a wave then we manage. In the end we all were shouted like victorious people. You can go directly to shivpuri and do it or if you are in a group you can get a package from various providers.

Tiger Found Dead in Corbett

Tiger found dead near Jim Corbett National Park
A tiger was found dead in the western Terrai forest divisions bordering the Jim Corbett National Park in Uttarakhand on Sunday.
Though tiger deaths always bring questions about poaching with them, this one is being seen by the forest officials as a natural death.
"It is a male tiger and there is no sign of outer injury or marks on its body. It is an old tiger. We will conduct the postmortem today and then we will tell what really happened," said Nishant Verma, a forest official.
The cause of death here may be old age, if the forest officials are to be believed.
"The first instance here is that its paws are all torn and there are cracks in it. Also his claws are not sharp and are very blunt. It seems to be an old tiger and so there is the possibility of a natural death," Verma pointed out.For the time being, the postmortem report of the tiger is awaited to know the real reason of death. Fishing in Corbett National Park

Those who have had the opportunity of reading Jim Corbett’s "Man Eaters of Kumaon" know that the amazing accounts of his fearless adventures in the Kumaon hills wasn’t exactly confined to the tigers of the hills. His fishing holidays around the verdant valley tells us many stories of thrilling experiences. Corbett’s addiction behind fishing came with the satisfaction of cooking up a hard-earned mill in the open wilderness. But, catching a giant Mahseer in a Kumaon river according to him didn’t make him overlook the beauty of the forests. He was indeed the man of the forest. So, following his trails, we traced back a fishing expedition near the Corbett National park. Needless to mention, named after this legendary hunter and conservationist, the Corbett National Park is one of the oldest national parks in the country and is one of the most favored eco-friendly destinations in the world.

After setting foot at Corbett, we couldn’t help but marvel at the breath taking surroundings and a jeep safari wasn’t just enough for we Faustian souls. Jim Corbett Park is not always about tigers and the jungles have many facets to its charm. Fishing in the river is just a part of it. Thus, the fishing trip happened and the excitement of a possible encounter with a Masheer inspired us for an early morning trip to the rivers. Who doesn’t want to go fishing in a serene river and smell the sweet scent of the jungles floating in the air on a spring day? People from all over the world flock in here for a memorable angling experience even if many of them are vegetarians. After all, what’s the harm in a date with the river for a change? Besides, we learnt that sustainable angling is rather a beneficial conservation activity and fishing is only allowed when the big Masheers completes a breeding cycle.

But, overall, it was our patience exercise tool because, fishing is a tricky business and the joy of your success can actually make you set the fish free in the waters again! Our fishing trip happened on a cloudy day and our patience almost burnt out while waiting for a fish but those who didn’t opt for it had a quite fun time on the banks. Taking a solitary walk in the woods around can actually make a poet of you. We never knew who took this seriously, but almost every face looked content. Finding happiness in the Corbett woods wasn’t that tough after all. A customized angling trip made our trip to the Kumaon hills a very memorable one. A fraction of our busy life spent in solitude and sheer idleness served a perfect antidote to our stressed out souls from the city.

However, it wasn’t our intention to get spoiled in the wilderness. All we wanted was some recreation but a camping mattress under a tree near the river just spoiled us. Too tempted to rest our souls underneath the blue sky, we gave in and the rest as they say is memory carefully tucked in our hearts. A pampered soul remembers the goodness in a better way! What say?

Wild life In Corbett

Adventure is a world inside our mind; it depends on us on how to tapped and enjoy a certain freedom. Let us make an adventuresome world for us during your adventure vacations. One of us liked to take picture with tigers and when get down of vehicle to reach tigers, suddenly someone came run from nearby leaving his small carrot shop on a table top, asked 10rs if like to taking a picture with tiger. Then who stands there, and who are we? It seems he only had left the tigers on the small grass mound to pull money, along with the carrots he harvests around. There’re days we could remember, people who visit photo studious used to take pictures with apparent animals, film stars and leaders by standing beside and dropping their arms on there shoulders. This is something different, and I wonder were they getting this idea, but it’s a trick to get money and it seems it spread to other destinations.

Enough… so talk something about our adventures trip. It was assume, we do more fun at Corbett national park. We were three family there… it’s a group tour because u don’t want to be alone at the Corbett national park in front of panther.

We did the most adventures activity at there like repelling fishing bird watching elephant safari. After that we r go to the nanital it also called the city of lake. It’s like heaven on the earth.

Corbett National Park

last week i was in rishikesh with my friends.

last week i was in Shivpuri for rafting with my 9 friends, i know Rishikesh is a pilgrimage center of India but i was not there for washing my past sin....... yes yes....jump into the river and washout our sins didn't seem like a bad idea.

so friends it was our company tour, and i m a travel consultant so tour itinerary is here ....

Morning we started our journey from Delhi to Rishikesh, during our journey we were very excited about our adventures trip, we had lots of ideas of reaching in our camp site and tearing off our warm upper and jump into the cold and Greene blue water of Ganga. Loud environment of our bus unexpectedly changed in to a sweet song of “how beautiful is it…..” when we were closer to shivpuri. So friends I want to say here “River was Blue and invitation was warm”

On reaching our campsite we take the gorgeous view of the great Ganga River, which was shadow by the Shivalik hills, our camp stand on excellent silver sand beach, so there we take our life jacket and jump into the river because you know “River was Blue and invitation was warm” our camp guide feebly directing a troop of 18 girls and boys “be careful don’t go deep into the water”

One another thing we did here is rock climbing, it was a 50 feet rock and I thing it’s an easiest way to take the taste of rock climbing. And definitely we click here some priceless pictures.

First day finally came to an end with finest dinner followed by finest campfire we ever had. It was an amazing fun/thrill to sit in bank of might River without electricity, but oil lamps gave us the little light.

Next Day was reserved for water thrill, I mean to say River rafting guys. We hit there some exciting rapids like roller coaster and golf course; they got our heart stuck in our throats.

In Body surfing point we jump into the river it was freezing but we hardly seems to mind.

Our rafting guide Mannu had a group song for us before up coming rapids “Ganga maye Ki JAY”

In between rafting we had also done cliff jumping, it was a 25 feet rock where from we jumped into the river, thrills…and nothing could be more stupendous than this.

After our rafting session we go back to our camp site and take chilled beer to take out our tiredness. Have dinner with friends.

One another time I want to say “nothing could be more stupendous ...sorry .....adventures than this”
